Building Remodel at UVU

From 2019 to 2021, I was the business project lead for a university building remodel for out department. Once remodeled we moved approximately 100 people into the new building. It had the complicated use case of a commercial rental property with corporate offices on two floors, university event space and labs on one floor and university classrooms and administrative offices on one floor. It was a massive and creative and interesting project. I learned to navigate the policies and approval process of a large institution while balancing the creative process of working with architects and designers. This would have been a big assignment on its own, but it was one of fourteen projects and four departments I was responsible for at the time. I'm very proud of what the dedicated team built in this flexible use, executive friendly space.
