Relationship-building has been the common thread throughout my career. My “why” is simple: I want to build cool things with cool people. No matter the industry or where I’ve been in the world, I seek out opportunities to collaborate with talented, good human beings and create programs and projects that make an impact. The “cool” factor might come from a new innovation, something that’s never been done before, or even a fresh approach to something that’s always been around.

I’ve worked across a wide range of sectors—legal, journalism, higher education—with detours into event management, community building, chambers of commerce, and even technology commercialization. It's been amazing working with some of the most incredible people: entrepreneurs, social change agents, business owners, politicians, teachers, attorneys, executives, interns, artists, and more. The binding element across all these experiences is finding purpose-driven people. The sense of shared purpose is the fuel and motivator that gets me out of bed every morning
